Since its launch in 1997, USChoops.com has been the best source for USC Men's Basketball information anywhere. I work on a daily basis to deliver the latest news on the USC Basketball Program to die-hard fans. For the past six years, the site has been primarily funded by myself, in addition to various donations from generous, loyal supporters. To those who have donated your time or your money, I thank you.
USChoops.com is a free independent site, which is a rare and dying breed in the Internet world, where premium college and recruiting sites dominate the arena. I don't have any current plans to go in that direction, but as the site has grown, so have the expenses to keep it running. Prior to 2000, ad revenue funded this site, but that is no longer the case. Ad rates crashed several years go and, for the most part, ads have been removed from the site. In the past year I have added several new features including, Fact or Fiction, Game Photo Galleries, Video Clips and more. The largest current expenses are the server and message board fees. Another expense will be the photographer we had courtside, bringing you close to the action at the biggest home games of the season. The photographer graciously volunteered his services last season, but to keep his photos coming your way this season, I will have to provide him with some compensation for his time.
